Carol I particularly enjoyed dealing with Mr. Woitas. He researched materials and prices for us and was able to build the addition for a competitive and very reasonable price. Quality was not sacrificed and he worked quickly. It was amazing to come home each day and see how much work Mr. Woitas had accomplished. He routinely consulted, informed, and followed up with us to ensure our satisfaction.
As the general contractor he supervised thoroughly the work of other tradesment and made sure the project was moving along as planned. He had many good design ideas and his experience and knowledge of construction and design were evident throughout the construction project. I appreciated his attention to energy efficiency and his problem solving skills.
Both my husband and I highly recommend Coogee Construction. Mr. Woitas is a professional and proficient builder and construction manager.

John and Patricia The work involved a complete reconstruction of our house including the additon of an upper floor and pitched roof, total renovation of the main and basement levels with all new bathrooms and kitchen, converting a single attached garage into a double garage, laying a driveway with retaining wall, re-roofing an existing workshop, installation of new windows throughout and replacement of all plumbing, electrical and heating.
We found Bruce to be professional, honest, reliable, cooperative and very helpful when unexpected changes occurred. He made money saving suggestions when appropriate while ensuring good quality workmanship from both his own crew and subcontractors.
The project was very successful and it was a pleasure to work with Bruce. We strongly recommend him for your renovation/construction project.

Brian and Michelle Bruce Woitas was an absolute pleasure to work with from the first phone call to the completion of the project. He was thorough in gathering the information he needed to build his quote and not only did he work within budget, he was able to finish ahead of the estimated schedule. Bruce did a fantastic job with assisting us in mapping out what we were wanting and problem solving any issues inherent in working with an older house. Bruce was diligent at keeping us well informed during the project and ensured we were always comfortable with the decisions we needed to make. The worksite was kept extremely tidy, Bruce was respectful of our space and ensured the subcontractors followed suit.
The pride Bruce has in his work is obvious and he ensured that everything was completed to a high standard. Bruce is easy to work with and we more than benefitted from his wealth of knowledge. We are very happy with our new space, would not think of using anyone else for future projects and our dog will miss spending time with him. Our renovation was stress free and a great experience. Ted Bruce came to me recommended by the Architect who did the design work on the house. I in turn would recommend Bruce be given the opportunity to undertake any renovating or remodeling project that may arise as he has good expertise in this field and produces a good product.

Jan We are very pleased with both the manner in which the work was done as well as the end product. Bruce was very attentive to details as well as keeping the job site in a clean and orderly manner. The courtesies he extended not only to ourselves but to our neighbors made the construction bearable to all. The quality of the trades Bruce used was excellent. I was especially pleased that Bruce was always here coordinating the trades, and that they invariably showed up when promised, with the correct materials and instructions to complete the job in a most professional manner.
All staff at Coogee Construction Ltd. treated our house as if it was their own, in that they were attentive to what we were attempting to accomplish and ready with suggestions and know how on how the project could be improved from the original concept. A good case in point is the fine entertainment center and computer area that we now have in our basement, the majority of which was made up out of our original kitchen cabinets. To fit an oversized TV, the extra effort was made to source cabinet doors to match the existing. This was an extra to the contract, as we had not considered that this was even possible when we started the project. The cost for this extra was extremely reasonable. Another example is the thought and care that Bruce gave to an especially challenging project of putting four inch oak trim around two quarter round windows framing a fireplace in the second story of the house. The result is a unique feature to our home.
In conclusion, I would very highly recommend Coogee Construction Ltd. to all that value excellent work which is accomplished in a professional courteous manner.
